Leros Street Lighting Control QULON

Leros

Greece

Solution

The project implemented in Leros, Greece, involved the installation of 70 controllers housed in cabinets and wireless individual control nodes mounted on lighting poles. The communication between the control nodes and the base stations was facilitated by the LiTouch radio transmission technology.

The controllers placed in the cabinets provided centralized management and monitoring of the lighting system. They allowed for the adjustment of lighting parameters and the monitoring of the status and energy consumption of the luminaires.

The wireless individual control nodes, installed on the lighting poles, enabled individual control of each luminaire and monitoring of its operation. This project on the island of Leros, Greece, achieved efficient lighting management, increased energy efficiency, and improved comfort and safety for the island's residents and visitors.

The LiTouch technology ensured reliable communication between the controllers and the luminaires without the need for wired connections.
