On Leros, Greece, our company together with partner AK Kallinikidis SA implemented a radio control system for modernizing about 200 street lanterns. The main goal of the municipality was reducing energy costs.
Applied Technologies We integrated the QULON C1 cabinet controller into the existing infrastructure. The lighting control system already included equipment from third-party manufacturers – miniature automatic circuit breakers C61N, disconnector switch with manual control and Smart Single Phase Energy Meter. The installation of QULON C1 was carried out on a DIN rail.
The QULON C1 controller with GSM modem provides remote control and monitoring at the segment level, allowing to carry out independent control of each phase and promptly detect faults. It withstands voltage up to 305 V and is equipped with non-volatile memory and a backup power source, guaranteeing stability of operation.
Obtained Advantages The advantage of this approach lies in its cost-effectiveness and simplicity of maintenance. All control components are placed in cabinets, which provides easy access for personnel without using lifting platforms. Such a solution is ideally suited for projects with limited funding, characteristic of small cities. The modernization reduced expenses on energy and maintenance, increasing the safety of residents and tourists of Leros.

Street Light Controller QULON C1
Street Light Controller QULON C1 is designed for remote diagnostics and control of street lighting systems.
For two-way communication with other devices and meters, Street Light Controller QULON C1 uses RS-485 interfaces. A 2G cellular connection is used to communicate with the QULON server.
The unit is powered from 110/220 V AC or 9-36 V DC.
The Street Light Controller QULON C1 can be configured remotely using the QULON control system and the DIP switches on the unit.
The unit is designed for DIN rail mounting in a lighting control cabinet.
Wire LiTouch Node
Wire LiTouch Node is a module for wireless control of luminaires via radio. It is designed for individual control, diagnostics and dimming.
Individual control module for LiTouch wireless lighting management system (868/915 MHz) is a device that can be connected to the LiTouch system through a wire. It allows for individual control of the lighting system and is compatible with both 868 and 915 MHz frequency bands. With the LiTouch system, users can easily manage their lighting system wirelessly and without the need for additional wiring. The device is designed for easy installation and can be mounted in various locations.
The device supports DALI, DALI 2.0, PWM, 1-10V, 0-10V interfaces as well as individual load control (on/off). The units are equipped with GPS receiver, depending on the version.
Wire LiTouch Node is configured and controlled via an 800-950MHz radio channel via LiTouch Base Stations.
The device is designed to be installed in a lighting fixture housing using a wire.
LiTouch Base Station
LiTouch Base Station is a base station for the individual control of LiTouch Nodes equipped luminaires via radio. The unit allows each luminaire to be individually controlled remotely, monitoring its status and energy consumption.
The 868/915 MHz radio channel is used for communication with the luminaires. The base station can serve up to 1000 LiTouch Nodes at distances of up to 5 km, depending on terrain and building density.
Communication with the QULON server is via a 2G/3G/4G mobile network or a wired Ethernet connection.
The unit is configured remotely using the QULON software.
The unit is designed to be mounted on a pole lighting or vertical surface. The unit is IP66 dust and water resistant.

Power meter
The Power meter is a state-of-the-art power monitor with a modern design that can measure and display various electrical power quality parameters. It is a versatile power meter that can be used for most applications in single-phase networks, with built-in pulse and RS485 Modbus for easy integration. It replaces the need for multiple models of power meters.
This power meter has been tested and certified for single-phase networks and import/export active energy (kWh), meeting the increased demand for MID certified meters.
The Power meter utilizes the latest microprocessor and technology, has a blue backlit display, and can measure up to 16 different parameters. It also has built-in pulsed outputs and RS485 Modbus RTU, making it fully compatible with BMS and remote monitoring systems.
